Round Table on the topic: "Black Sea pollution with plastic litter"

BISAC is organizing a Round Table on the topic: ”Black Sea pollution with plastic litter - a cooperative initiative to transform the current challenges into future opportunities for sustainable development”.

Black Sea Advisory Council (BISAC) is organizing a Round Table on the topic: ”Black Sea pollution with plastic litter - a cooperative initiative to transform the current challenges into future opportunities for sustainable development”, which is to be held on May 30, 2018 in Aqua Hotel, Burgas, “Amphibia” hall, start time 10.30 am.

The round table is organized in three stages:

First stage: Pollution of the seas with plastic litter - examples;

Second stage: EU - Effective regulatory measures to combat plastics and conservation of the marine resources.

Third stage: Possible economic instruments for long-term pollution prevention and efficient recycling of litter at national level.

The lecturers will be representatives from the EC, BISAC, scientists, plastics manufacturers. Working languages ​​are Bulgarian, Romanian and English.

The Round Table will end with an exhibition - canvases of the artist Stoyan Radev on the topic: „The small fishermen – way of life, livelihood and hope for the future, let’s pass it on to the future generations“.

There will be a briefing, opinions and conclusions at the end.
