Round table

On 25.06.2019 a round table on "Sustainable fishing in the Black Sea" was held in Constanta, Romania.

Presentations were prezented by the chairman of the BlSAC Dr. Yordan Gospodinov, Prof. Simeon Nikolaev from the Institute for Marine Research and Development "Grigor Antipa" Constanta, Assoc. Prof. Violin Raykov from IO BAS, Mihaela Candea from NGO "Mare Nostrum" Constanta, Dimitrina Kostova from European Association for Small-Scale Fisheries, Bulgaria, Representative of ANPA Romania.The event was attended by many representatives of industry and science. The forum was also welcomed by Prof. Galin Nikolov, Executive Director of NAFA Bulgaria.

A serious discussion has raised the issue of the criteria that small-scale fishing must meet, as well as the quota for turbot, stock and control, and other scientific and environmental topics related to the turbot and dolphin population in the Black Sea.
